Living in Douglas, South Lanarkshire I am at the heart of the Douglas and Angus Estates, a large rural sprawl of a landscape that is dominated by sheep, dairy cattle, and timber.

In my work I try to create a sense of this lovely place and hopefully a wee bit of Scotland as well.

Although landscapes form the largest portion of my body of work I also enjoy painting details of the flora and fauna found on the estate

Self taught my preferred mediums are pastel, charcoal, pencil and watercolour.
