Dronma - Pladda and Ailsa Criag
Dronma was born in Glasgow and studied sculpture at the Glasgow School of Art where she graduted in 1969. Following teacher training in Glasgow, Dronma taught art in secondary school, preceding her appointment as Art Director at Glasgow Arts Centre. Dronma has been a Tibetan Buddhist since 1976 from which she takes her unusual name. Dronma’s vibrant landscapes have gained her a fine reputation amongst discerning buyers of contemporary Scottish art, as a modern colourist and sells work regularly throughout the world.
