for several
city advertising
agencies for many years, laterly free-lance, before deciding
to paint full-time.
Exhibits
throughout the UK and abroad. Paints mostly Scottish
landscape with an emphasis
on colour and
texture. The paintings tend to be elements of a subject and
geographical
location rather
than an explicit representation. Atmosphere and contrast are
important to the compostions and so the paintings are worked
in such a manner that best portrays this.
