Patricia studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design qualifying in Drawing and Painting, whilst still a student she studied at Hospitalfield House Arbroath with Peter Blake as visiting tutor. On completion of the diploma course she awarded a post diploma year of study.

Patricia also gained an award from the Scottish Young Contemporaries exhibition.

Patricia then went on to teach art and design across both primary abd secondary sectors and worked as Curriculum Development Officer Art and Design for several years. She now holds a position of Education Officer with Stirling Council Children’s Services with a wider responsibility across Sports Arts and Culture.

Over the years she has kept up her own work mostly in pastel and oil and her work is characterised in strong vigorous handling of the media and use of colour.

Patricia was born in Dunblane and now lives in Callander.
