Festival.
Summer 2004
One of three selected
artists for the second ‘Seeing the Light’ Exhibition of the British
Association for Modern Mosaic. The exhibition was held in the
Collins Gallery, University of Strathclyde, June and July.
Large-scale works.
‘Seeing the Light’ was established to promote mosaic as an
expressive art form in its own right.
Leading mosaic artists from Japan, Norway, Egypt, Italy and France
also exhibited.
Speaker at the International Mosaic Symposium as part of the ‘Seeing
the Light’ exhibition.
Following the exhibition, I taught two mosaic workshops in the
Collins Gallery.

Autumn 2004
Keynote speaker at the Fifth
International Mosaic Exhibition in Chartres, near Paris.
My mosaic entitled ‘Orogeny’ gained first prize in one of the award
categories.
2005
Morven Gallery – a new
series of small works for the Spring show.
Stenton Gallery, East Lothian – Spring show.
Invitation to hold a mosaic workshop in Central France in July.
One-person show in Chartres (September to January)
Invitation to present a talk to the Royal Scottish Academy in May.
