Martin Oates was born in Glasgow in 1952. He works mainly in watercolour, painting the varied landscapes of Scotland and the Mediterranean and a selection of these are available in limited edition prints.

He lives in Glasgow working from his studio overlooking Kelvingrove Park.

His work is shown in Galleries throughout Scotland and in collections overseas.
