Anne Duffy

Born St. Helens, Lancashire, now living in Dumfries&Galloway. Started painting in mid life and went as a mature student to Manchester Metropolitan University for the B.A. Fine Art.

While still a student was asked by the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool to be one of their “artists at work.” Also worked on “Field For The British Isles” with Anthony Gormley.

Awarded a European Union Drawing Bursary and invited to Munich to produce and exhibit new work.

Spent three years immersed in Electronic Art but retuned to Fine Art five years ago.

Self employed as an artist since 2005.
